Artist Guidelines for the Pound of Flesh Coffin Tattoo Contest

Think you’ve got what it takes to dominate the tattoo game?

Here’s everything you need to know to enter and claim your spot on the coffin!

1. Apply & Pay:

    • The entry fee is $25, which includes a Pound of Flesh coffin tattoo skin shipped to you. Only 40 coffins will be shipped out before the event, so apply early!
    • Once the 40 coffins are claimed, additional coffins will be available for purchase directly from Pound of Flesh at the convention.

2. Create Your Submission:

    • Tattoo the coffin skin as creatively and skillfully as possible.
    • Be sure to follow the marking instructions provided in your package to ensure anonymity during judging.

3. Submit Your Coffin Skin:

  • By Mail: Ship your tattooed coffin back to AATC, ensuring it arrives by Thursday, April 10th. Shipping instructions and a form for additional details will be included in your package.
  • In-Person: Bring your tattooed coffin with you to the convention and hand it to the convention staff at check-in.

4. Judging & Winner Announcement:

    • All submissions will be displayed at the convention on Sunday, and the winner will be announced before the Flash Contest category.
    • The winner will receive a custom award from MetalWorx and a tattooable gnome product from Pound of Flesh. If the winner is not in attendance, their award, coffin skin, and gnome will be shipped to them.

Additional Details:

  • Social Media Feature: All submissions will be showcased on AATC’s social media in a reel format before the convention. Make sure to include a description of your tattoo design in the form provided.
  • Shipping Costs for Return: If you want your coffin skin mailed back after the event, let us know when you ship it to us, and we will invoice you for the return shipping cost.
